Prior to becoming Director (Refineries), he headed Kochi and Mumbai Refineries of BPCL
Under his visionary leadership, BPCL has implemented several pioneering initiatives that have redefined industry standards in safety, sustainability, and efficiency
BPCL is also in the process of implementation of its biorefinery with a capacity 100 KL per day bioethanol from 1G route and 100 KL bioethanol from 2G route
Khanna believes that India has got all the right ingredients and it is just a matter of time to become global manufacturing powerhouse
In his tenure spanning over 30 years, he has been instrumental in conceptualizing and setting up of new plants and commissioning several units at Mumbai and Numaligarh Refineries
Prior to this, he was heading BPCL Mumbai Refinery.
BPCL launched the BPCL Ankur Fund, which enables strategic investments in startups by providing equity funding
BPCL and OIL Sign non-binding MoU for Rs. 1 lakh crore to build Ramayapatnam greenfield refinery & petrochemical
So far, 50 LPG plants have successfully achieved ZKD certification
