Petrovietnam and Messer form JV to build $35 million industrial gas plant in Vietnam

The new ASU will operate substantially off of energy supplied from an onsite solar panel array
The intention of the partners is to achieve the most economic operation possible, by maximizing cost efficiency and the utilization of all co-products in an integrated hub concept
The contract is based on HyGear’s Gas-as-a-Service model, in which the company retains ownership of the systems and remains responsible for the operation and maintenance of the technology at the customer’s site
Commissioning of the plant is scheduled for July 2022.
The commissioning of ASU is scheduled for December 2021 and the plant will be connected to the Messer pipeline network to meet the growing oxygen and nitrogen demand of the chemical industry in Tarragona.
